GROTTENARBEITER - IN SEARCH OF THE LOST RIVER

This is the story of two groups of speleologists from Trieste competing simultaneously to reach the Timavo by way of a daunting series of excavations in the Triestine Karst. Is an extreme effort, difficult and very dangerous, comparable to those of their eighteenth-century miners and justified only by the limitless passion and uncontrollable desire to transform a legend into reality.
 
 

Tullio Bernabei Born in 1958, he has written documentaries and television programs for national as well as foreign stations. Speleologist, alpinist and explorer, he has made documentaries in many regions of the world, in particular in Mexico where he is the co-founder of the “Geographica Mexico Project” and “Speleores- earch & Films”. He is one of the founders and the current president of the Associazione La Venta.
