Olga e il tempo
(Olga and Time)
by Manuele Cecconello
56’, Mini DV, Italy, 2007
A “slow speed” story in which the usual, measured gestures of Olga, in her daily work as a shepherd, exist in their own time and truth. What comes through clearly is an authentic love for the mountains and symbolic devotion to nature. Olga, in this transfigured world, assumes the role of solitary icon for all shepherds in the mountainous Biellese region.
