A permanent, full-time performing group of 17 professional musicians from different countries of Caucaso Region, founded in 2005 by the German conductor, composer and pianist Uwe Berkemer to demostrate that music is a unifying force across borders and boundaries: a symbol for peace and mutual understanding.

The awards ceremony of the 15th Film Festival della Lessinia, with the conferral of the Lessinia d'Oro, will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at 6:30 pm in the main theatre of the Teatro Vittoria.

The retrospective devoted to Heidi continues at the Film Festival della Lessinia. Three afternoon screenings will bring to Bosco Chiesanuova three masterpieces featuring the infamous shepherd-girl invented by Johanna Spyri. Monday, August 24, 4:00 pm: Heidi. Zoccoletti olandesi (Heidi. Dutch Clogs), by Allan Dwan (featuring Shirley Temple); Tuesday, August 25, 4:00 pm: Heidi. Sono tornata per te (Heidi. I've Come back for You), by Luigi Comencini; Wednesday, August 26, 4:00 pm: Heidi torna tra i monti (Heidi Returns to the Mountains), the celebrated animated cartoons by Isao Takahata.
