In a small village in the Bulgarian mountains lives Micheto, a slightly crazy farmer, and her elderly stepmother, a woman with a dry, stingy personality who finds every excuse to attack and criticize her daughter. To escape her, Micheto often hides in the woods, talks to the frogs, and dreams... One fine day, Milly, an equally nutty—and, above all, forgetful— English tourist appears. She has gotten lost during an excursion and turns up at Micheto’s house, mistaking the old house for her hotel. In spite of the language problems, and their differing personalities and cultures, between Milly and Micheto a true friendship is born that resists the mother’s attempts to get rid of the intruder. But what can come of such a bizarre combination? A miracle, for sure!
