The snow-covered expanse of Mongolia is the scene of this story in which Quizilol, a young member of the nomadic Tsaatan tribe, falls in love with Solongo. Reindeer are the only means of survival for these people. In order to marry Solongol, Quizilol must show the young woman’s family that he can tame a reindeer and prevent its escape, despite violent snowstorms, on these mountains that border Russia.
