Men and Wolves

This film recounts the life of the Macedonian shepherds in the mountains of the Abruzzo, a harsh land that resembles nearby Macedonia. But their loved ones are far away and the solitude eats away at their souls. Confessions, dreams, and fears contribute to the “beast like” yet so-human stories of those who emigrate to our country, not in search of “America”, but of a job. From the experience of this documentary, seven years after the film L’orizzonte degli eventi was born.
