From the day when they fi rst met, by pure chance, Masha, the little scamp, and Mishka, the kind bear, have been inseparable friends. She torments him and he, patiently, adores her. We see them in six episodes: their fi rst meeting (How they Met), in the spring (Don’t Wake till Spring), grappling with Saint Nicholas and the Christmas tree (One, Two, Th ree! Light the New Year Tree!), on the trail of animalsin the woods (Tracks of Unknown Animals), in their adventures with another bear (Springtime Bear) and misadventures while fi shing (Gone Fishing).
