Mario Casella

Mario Casella

Born in 1959, Casella lives in Roveredo, Switzerland. Journalist, documentary filmmaker, and Alpine guide, he works part-time for Swiss Radio and Television, both as a director of documentaries and author of investigative programs. For three years he directed the RSI magazine, Falò, before becoming an independent producer.  At the Film Festival della Lessinia he was awarded the Lessinia d’Oro in 2008 for his film Grozny Dreaming, and the Province of Verona Prize in 2005 for Siachen: una guerra per il ghiaccio.

Roberto Mantovani

Roberto Mantovani

An established journalist, Mantovani became interested in the mountains in his youth, first as an excursionist and skier, and later as a journalist and scholar. Winner of the Saint-Vincent Prize for journalism in 2007, he was the director of the Rivista della Montagna and of many special editions of the magazine, Alp. He has written some fifteen books about mountains, and edited the entire Alpine section of the De Agostini encyclopedia, La Montagna. Since 2008 he has collaborated with the Rai 2 television program, Montagne.

Ilian Metev

Ilian Metev

Metev was born in 1981 and grew up in Bulgaria and Germany where he studied classical violin. After earning a diploma at the National Film and Television School in London, he merged his musical interests and sensibility with cinema, first as the creator of commercial spots and then as a documentary filmmaker. With the documentary Goleshovo, he won the prize for young directors at the 2009 Film Festival della Lessinia, as well as 14 other international prizes including the prestigious Talent Dove at the 2008  DOK Leipzig.

Nata¨a Muntean

Nata¨a Muntean

Born in Serbia in 1977, after completing her college degree she specialized in photography and video at the universities of Bucharest and Belgrade. In 2005 she produced and directed her first documentary with Lucian Muntean, with whom she founded Lunam Docs, devoted to  productions with themes of human rights and social justice. Worldwide recognition for their work has inspired  Nataša and Lucian to create an association to gather funds to fight the exploitation of child workers.

Maria Serena Tait

Maria Serena Tait

Maria Serena Tait earned a degree in political science at the University of Padua, and has worked since 1978 at RAI in Trento as programmer-director. She has produced many radio and television programs about art, history, industrial archaeology, and the environment. In addition, she directs theatrical plays and musicals, and has worked extensively with young actors. A professional journalist, she is a passionate dog-lover and Civil Protection volunteer. She holds a degree in graphological techniques from Urbino.
