Avedon meets Lessinia

In the manner of Richard Avedon, the photographers Stefano Bellamoli and Paolo Bonomi, in collaboration of Corrado Maria Crisciani, were inspired by the project “In the American West” when creating this exhibition/work-in-progress that is a tribute to the great American photographer. They made portraits of farmers, breeders, and artisans who live and work in the High Plains of the Lessinia. The exhibition is part of the project, “Avedon Meets Lessinia”, that also includes a photo workshop that will be held during the 16th Film Festival della Lessinia. Il mistero dei suoni scomparsi

“Luisa Rota Sperti creates mirrors...and you don’t know if you are inside or out, if they are a dream or reality, if one day in the Dolomites you really saw those images or, rather, know that one day you will see them; and it is a doubt with a smile”. Marco Tonon writes these words in his introduction to the book, Il mistero dei suoni scomparsi, by Paola Favero, that is a refl ection on the sonorous mountain landscape and its changes. The illustrations, by Luisa Rota Speri, are on view in this exhibition during the Film Festival della Lessinia.
