There are shepherds and farmers who live in the harsh mountains above the coast of the Black Sea. For centuries they have climbed to the highest peaks to cun hay and to let their flocks graze. These families, who still smile and sing despite their difficult existence, may be the last to carry on this antique tradition.
 

	Murat Erün Murat Erün has a degree from the Media and Press department at the University of Ankara. He worked as a photographer for a time, as well as on film crews as a cameraman, editor, production assistant, director and director of photography for television journalism programs and documentaries. Since 2001 he has taught at Bahçes ̧ehir University and Kadir Has University.
