Matti Bauer

Matti Bauer

Born in 1955, he studied anthropology, geology, and Portuguese philology and conducted research in the Amazon and other regions of Brazil. Journalist, author, and independent film director, since the 1990s he has directed documentaries and films for the most eminent German television stations. A member of the advisory board of the AG DOK, he is now a delegate of the Wort and a council member of the Internationales Dokumentarfilmfestival München.

Margherita Detomas

Margherita Detomas

Journalist and director, she has worked since 1994 for Rai in Bolzano and has collaborated with local and national newspapers and magazines. A passionate explorer and archaeologist, she has published the results of her research in various specialized magazines. Detomas is a native speaker of Ladina and author of publications and a guide to the Trentino region, her homeland. With the documentaries C’è musica sulle Torri and Amore sulla neve she has participated in numerous international film festivals and gained important recognition.

Salome Jashi

Salome Jashi

After earning a degree at Tbilisi State University and a diploma from the Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management, Salome Jashi, born in 1981, worked for the Georgian Broadcasting Company Rustavi 2 and then completed a master’s degree in Documentary Techniques at the University of London. She is one of the founders of the production company, Sakdoc Film. Her documentary, Their Helicopter, was given an award at the 14th Film Festival della Lessinia.

Albert Galindo Mallol

Albert Galindo Mallol

Born in 1969 in La Seu d’Urgell, after earning a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, he began working in television as a cameraman and director’s assistant for several dramatic series. He works as a program developer for Spanish and Catalonian television and is part of the artistic direction of the Picurt festival of short films about Pyrenean themes, in La Seu d'Urgell. He is the author of screenplays and documentaries for this festival.

Pierre Simoni

Pierre Simoni

Born in 1932, after his studies in Italy and France he began working as a producer for Television Suisse Romande. In 1971 he created Chronique Montagne, the first transmission in Europe devoted to the mountains. A member of the Swiss Alpine Club for more than 47 years, he was part of the Cultural Commission of the Central Committee. He has been artistic director of the Festival International du Film Alpin des Diablerets and participated in the creation of the International Alliance for Mountain Film.
