Awards

The most important recognitions awarded by the Lessinia Film Festival are the Lessinia d'Oro and the Lessinia d'Argento. The imagery of these prizes symbolizes a fairy (or fada) casting aloft a handful of stars from a pasture of the Lessinia. Other prizes are dedicated to life in the mountains, to minority cultures and languages, to the protection of the enviroment, and to the Lessinia.

For the work that best documents and values the language and culture of ethnic minorities in the mountains.

Prize from the Veneto Region - € 1.000
For the best work regarding cultural identity in the mountains.

Prize from the Province of Verona - € 1.000
For the best work regarding “history in the mountains”.

Prize for the best animated film - € 1.000 Lessinia Prize - € 500
For the best work regarding the Veronese Lessinia Mountains.

Prize from the Lessinia Regional Natural Park - € 500
For the best naturalistic documentary.
